Schedule


AASFP in conjunction with Yogasana, the foremost yoga authority in Hong Kong, is offering an intensive teacher training program. Both Yogasana and their teachers are registered with Yoga Alliance, having met the global standards on curriculum and ethics. Upon completion of the full course, students can register themselves as a RYT-200 hours with Yoga Alliance. The course is divided into 2 modules – A & B. Each module is composed of a 100 hour training program, with the entire YTT covering 200 hours.



Course times (09 October - 29 November):

Module A commenced on 25th April and Module B will start on 10th October 2009.

09 October, Friday: Orientation

Every Saturday: 9:00 am - 4:30 pm (10, 17, 24, 31 October & 07, 14, 21 November)

Every Sunday: 9:00 am - 6:30 pm (11, 18, 25 October & 01, 08, 15, 22,, 29 November)

Sample course syllabus includes: How to teach a 90-minute Vinyasa-style class; How to structure a class and sequence postures; How to safely and appropriately adjust students in class; Kriyas (yoga cleansing techniques) & Pranayama (breathing exercises); Yoga history, philosophy & anatomy; Ayurveda; Yoga Fitness.
